Position Summary:

In the Junior Manager Online Advertising role you will ensure successful delivery of display advertising campaign goals and maximize campaign performance. You will work on your own accounts alongside the Online Marketing team to initiate and optimize digital campaigns, identify and maximize revenue opportunities, provide ongoing qualitative reporting, and continuously scout innovative advertising opportunities that promise to drive strategic revenue growth for Sixt.

 

This is a junior management role for a very detail oriented, analytical professional with the capacity and desire to succeed and grow in a fast paced, corporate environment. This role is responsible for the tactical day-to-day management of performance campaigns as well as driving the strategic revenue growth for each account. Candidates must be able to negotiate pricing and media placements, initiate process improvement and execute plan implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Market research and inquiries for Online Display Performance Deals for Sixt USA: Screening of media outlets and proactive outreach to potential publishers to source innovative advertising opportunities.
  • Contract negotiation and campaign launches: Securing creative assets via in-house creative team; placing and monitoring assets via ad server technology, and timely delivery of creative submission.
  • Daily management and optimization of each account’s campaigns to ensure success metrics are achieved.
  • Perform ongoing analysis of campaign performance and execute on action oriented outcomes, aimed at increasing revenue growth.
  • Detect and proactively resolve any inconsistencies or issues with each campaign, underperformance, over pacing, or any other campaign-related metrics.
  • Aggregate daily/weekly/monthly reporting using 3rd party & 1st party reports, and identify opportunities for reporting efficiency improvement.
  • Invoice verification and cost control for each account.
  • Communicate with publishers in a professional manner, including proposal negotiation, conducting conference calls and meetings, publisher reconciliation.
  • Close collaboration with the internet team and creative department for best possible online advertisement performance.
  • Create promotional landing pages on sixt.com, and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree from accredited 4-year university (Mathematics, Statistics, Digital Advertising, E-Commerce, Marketing, or related field).
  • Previous experience at a digital advertising/media company, with solid understanding of online advertising terminologies and pricing structures.
  • Must be extremely proficient in MS Excel and Outlook; HTML or digital design a PLUS.
  • Very tech-savvy, experienced using ad servers and web analytics platforms.
  • Pro-active, autonomous go-getter who takes ownership and is accountable for all his/her work.
  • Passion for online advertising media and deep understanding of travelers’ interaction with display advertising.
  • A high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including Power Point and copywriting.
  • Proven ability to analyze and optimize opportunities to maximize ROI.
  • A passion for learning, technology and creative problem-solving.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and switching gears on the fly.
  • Ability to communicate in German is a PLUS.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
