Position Summary:

 

The Turnaround Operations manager will oversee the turnaround process for all corporate locations in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze & develop current turnaround process at our Sixt US corporate locations.
  • Prepare, implement, execute training & ensure sustainable implementation of central guidelines for the Turnaround Management.
    • Provide continuous follow up with Return Agents on how to properly document vehicle damage, notify the renter of damage documented and provide sufficient documentation to the Claims Department.
    • Implement motivational contest to build employee morale and improve branch culture.
  • Develop Return Agents on how to provide excellent customer service even while damage is being documented.
    • Provide training on how to handle customer disputes & complaints with professionalism and confidence.
  • Provide feedback to branch & regional managers on level of competency of Service Providers and Return Agents.
    • Provide weekly & monthly reporting to senior management & company executives of current progress and future goals.
    • Enforce unachieved requirements / goals.
    • Meet with branch managers to provide feedback of findings.
  • Analyze current KPI’s and interpret areas of deficiencies & achievements.
    • Develop proposal for improving & developing processes in the areas of deficiencies.
    • Provide feedback to branch, regional & country managers on significant Turnaround KPI’s.
    • Monitor Turnaround KPIs, create efficient reporting and enforce agreed measures to optimize the performance.
  • Must be able to build & establish relationships
    • With Branch Managers, branch staff, Service Providers and vendors.
      • Improve the communication at the branch level with all parties involved.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Management preferred or minimum 2 years in process implementation & training / development.
  • Must be able to travel up to 70% with multiple overnight stays in other cities.
  • Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish), German, Portuguese a plus.
  • Experience in the process and quality management of a car rental or the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Must be team oriented.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Be able to provide constructive criticism / feedback
  • Must be able to work independently.
    • Self-starter / Self-motivated
  • Must have excellent teaching & motivational skills.
    • People person
  • Must possess strong analytical skills.
    • Able to read reports, identify deficiencies and come up with projects on how to improve the current process.
