Corporate Meeting

Position Summary:

The training coordinator manages the delivery of training programs (both internally and externally) and coordinates development solutions to meet the training needs of our growing organization. This exciting role also gives you the opportunity to supporting our team in a performance and training capacity, you are also responsible for administrative tasks related to training, managing timelines, facilities, communication and project management. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Director to assess and identify effective staff training programs
  • Communicate and market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
  • Manage training schedules/calendars, coordinate logistics, and manage enrollments organization-wide
  • Maintain updated curriculum database, training records (including budget information) and training metrics (scorecard)
  • Administer onboarding and orientation for new team members
  • Prepare training materials (presentations, collateral/materials, roster, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder management and team members to ensure the alignment of internal and external training programs with business strategies; monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness and success and periodically report on them
  • Partner with internal stakeholder management and team members to understand the training and development needs of the organization and develop a strategy and roadmap for delivering the programs that will enhance employees' skills, performance, and productivity
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
  • Handle ad hoc projects as needs arise.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or relevant field preferred

  • Requires 2 years experience working with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Project management, training and development experience preferred
  • Experience at a car rental branch is a plus 
  • Excellent process thinking abilities
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events
  • Able to adapt and rapidly respond to the changing demands of a fast paced, high growth, service-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and relate well with others from a variety of backgrounds and levels
  • Capable of operating effectively and efficiently as an individual contributor, team member & team project leader
  • Strong administrative skills; MS Office proficiency is a must.
