Position Summary:


The Fleet Assistant is responsible for providing clerical services including maintaining repairs and work orders. In addition, this position will support fleet services to ensure accuracy, efficiency and excellent customer service.


  • Maintain detailed, accurate, up to date information of all company vehicles via Fleet Databases
  • Update vehicle status, driver assignments and registration information daily
  • Assist the Manager with scheduling vehicle maintenance as needed
  • Coordinate the acquisition of company vehicles, generate vehicle price quotes, and add and terminate vehicles following the company guidelines
  • Assist with accident reporting and subrogation tasks and process violations
  • Coordinate tag registrations and renewals for each vehicle.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year experience within a fleet department
  • Must have basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent management skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Must have the ability to manage stressful or unusual situations in order to maintain a good customer service
  • Must be able to communicate efficiently and courteously to customers
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Ability to communicate in other languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Hebrew, German, etc.) is a plus.
