    Position Summary:


    This individual will be responsible for the development of new hotel and local business in South Florida and implementing them as Sixt corporate customers. The overall duties include contacting, visiting and developing business with hotel concierges and business contacts in the South Florida area.    

    What you'll do to be Sixt-cessful:

    • Locate and identify hotels and local businesses in the South Florida area with car rental needs
    • Contact and visit hotels and businesses regularly to gain new business
    • Develop and nurture relationships with concierges and other contacts within the region
    • Analyze potential customers to offer Sixt products that fit their needs
    • Management of accounts including frequent visits, sales reporting, and identifying new opportunities
    • Network with small and medium sized managers in order to establish potential new business
    • Attend Networking events, trade shows, chamber meetings as well as any other assigned or recommended events within specified region
    • Maintain regular contacts to carry out programs and to assist with specialized matters, or occasional contacts with officials at higher levels on matters requiring cooperation, explanation and persuasion
    • Assist with clerical duties when setting up new accounts
    • Makes recommendations or decisions as required
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    What you'll need:

    • Must be able to travel up to 20%, and open to increased travel in the future
    • 2+ years experience in outside sales
    • Excellent organizational skills required
    • Able to multi-task & prioritize
    • Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
    • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Must have a valid driver's license
    • Must be at least 21 years old
    • Must be able to work 40 hours per week
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
    • Ability to communicate in other languages (French, Portuguese, Hebrew, German, etc.) is a plus.
