    What to expect:

     

    The Director of People Management (HR) Operations is responsible for all US-related HR operations, including planning, directing and administering.  This position will lead a team of 5 employees.

    What you'll do to be Sixt-cessful:

    • COMPLIANCE
      1. Maintains responsibility for compliance with federal and state legislation with regard to personnel records, payroll and governance of related areas
      2. Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for updates and/or improvements of people-related policies, procedures and practices; maintains employee handbook
      3. Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
      4. Maintains personnel records and provides reports as needed or required
    • COMPENSATION
      1. Responsible for maintaining and administering a competitive compensation system for the USA; conducts annual reviews and participates in benchmarking surveys
      2. Manages the payroll function, including software and payroll interfaces
    • BENEFITS
      1. Maintains competitive benefits, including administration.
      2. Manages benefits coordinator, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment
      3. Serves as the Benefits Committee Administrator for the US
    • HR SYSTEMS AND ANALYTICS:
      1. Develops and maintains a human resource system that meets company personnel information needs
      2. Supervises the HR analyst with regard to systems, analytics and other initiatives
    • Obtains feedback on support services to the HR function, organization, initiating continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
    • Participates on other committees, special projects, or other duties as assigned

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field required
    • Master of Human Resources or related field a plus
    • S/PHR Certification is desirable
    • Compensation, Benefits and HRIS systems – 10 years minimum direct experience
    • 4+ years’ experience in a human resources operations management role within a mid to large size company, leading a team
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, English language communication skills
    • Experience with HR analytics and reporting
    • Experience leading large scale projects related to the role
    • Clear understanding of regulations related to compliance, payroll, record-retention, compensation and benefits
    • Must have knowledge of ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA and Workers Compensation
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, project management), HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems and Payroll software.
