    What to expect:

    The Vice President, Retail Sales is responsible for the development and implementation of our retail sales business. As a senior leader, this person will be involved in major strategic decisions and be directly responsible for growing revenue through our retail distribution channels in the US, including introducing new and innovative products in the marketplace. The VP of Retail Sales will be expected to manage and develop talent to support needs of the team.

     

    The selected candidate will quickly master the nuances of Sixt Rent A Car, LLC’s strategic imperatives and business operations as well as the challenges and opportunities in the sector. The VP, Retail Sales must have sound business sense and be equally adept at marketplace assessments, developing business case and plans of action. Superior judgment, three-dimensional analytical abilities, a collegial approach to problem-solving, and a polished, diplomatic presentation style are all critical to this role.

    What you'll do to be Sixt-cessful:

    • Responsible for all aspects of retail sales business strategy including management, analytics, marketing, sales, store operations, lender and ancillary product partnerships
    • Develop and negotiate local, regional and national vendor partnerships
    • Support negotiations of business and financial transactions and review related contracts
    • Develop relationships and work with government officials
    • Ensure proper cost control and compliance of business vendors
    • Provide strategic direction in developing and assembly of proposals and presentations
    • Plan and organize insightful ways to drive initiatives and resolve issues.

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master prefered
    • Experience in automotive retail sales required
    • Five (5) to Ten (10) years' experience in a mid to senior level automotive retail sales \
    • Extensive SEM and CRM knowledge
    • Ability to travel up to 40%
    • Must have strong communication skills and team-based project experience
    • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
    • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Experience working in a fast-paced service environment
    • Must have the ability to persuade and problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Skills in numerical and statistical analysis
    • An understanding of all aspects of the business
    • Must be at least 21 and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
    • Proficiency in English, and the ability to communicate in other languages (German, Spanish, etc.) is a plus
