    What to expect:

    The United States is our most important growth market and we are looking for a District Sales Manager to continue this growth with us. The right person for this role will have strong sales, systems and product knowledge to be able to coach our Branch Managers in gaining new contacts and customers for Sixt. In this position, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profit through lead generation in collaboration with Branch Manager and Rental Sales Agents, creating sales action plans to be followed and tracked and set target customer lists for Branch Managers.  We are looking for leaders who are enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and who are ready to take their career to the next level.

    What you'll do to be Sixt-cessful:

    Lead Generation

    • Ensure sufficient usage and traffic generated from the Cobra Sales Lead Button
    • Track and report lead results and initiate action steps to reach target numbers
    • Action plans can include incentives that are proactively and independently planned, tracked and followed up on
    • Responsible for target customer lists for each BM
    • In collaboration with each Branch Manager (BM), train all Rental Sales Agents (RSAs) to identify new corporate customers at the counter.

    New Customer Acquisition:

    • Support the BMs in new customer generation by regularly monitoring and tracking the Sixt sales-related KPIs
    • Develop the BMs for corporate sales in initial training as well as on-the-job coaching
    • Ensure BMs acquire the relevant skills and knowledge on company products, systems and the overall sales process
    • Motivate the BMs in your area of responsibility to actively pursue new customer acquisition and ensure that sales results are evenly distributed among the branches
    • Monitor and control the deal transition process from BM to Telesales
    • Must have strong sales, systems and product knowledge to be able to coach and support Branch Managers in new client acquisition and relationship building.

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field
    • 5-7+ years of sales experience in the retail car industry
    • 2+ years leading a sales team
    • Ability to travel up to 50% - 80% within the U.S. and occasionally to Europe
    • Independent, structured and goal-oriented in your work method
    • Must have the ability to persuade and problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Skills in numerical and statistical analysis
    • An understanding of all aspects of the business
    • Must work well in teams and have strong communication skills
    • Must be at least 21 and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
    • Ability to communicate in other languages is a plus.
