    What to expect:

    This role is responsible for all US-related HR operations and will supervise 3 employees.

    What you'll do to be Sixt-cessful:

    • GOVERNANCE/COMPLIANCE
      1. Maintains responsibility for compliance with federal and state legislation with regard to personnel records, payroll and governance of related areas
      2. Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for updates and/or improvements of people-related policies, procedures and practices; maintains employee handbook
      3. Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
      4. Maintains personnel records and provides reports as needed or required
    • COMPENSATION
      1. Responsible for maintaining and administering a competitive compensation system for the USA; conducts annual reviews and participates in benchmarking surveys
      2. Manages links to the payroll function, including software and payroll interfaces
    • BENEFITS
      1. Maintains competitive benefits, including administration.
      2. Manages benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment
      3. Serves as the U.S. Benefits Committee Administrator
    • PAYROLL
      1. Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate payroll for the USA
      2. Ensures the time and attendance system meets compliance needs and governance of the system
      3. Ensures we have a backup payroll processor

     

    • HR SYSTEMS AND ANALYTICS:
      1. Develops and maintains a human resource system that meets company personnel information needs, and is appropriately connected to the corporate systems
      2. Supervises the HR analyst with regard to systems, analytics and other initiatives
    • Also responsible for front desk reception, building facilities (both directly supervised by the Payroll Manager)
    • Obtains feedback on support services to the HR function, organization, initiating continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
    • Participates on other committees, special projects, or other duties as assigned

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required
    • Master of Human Resources or related field desirable
    • S/PHR Certification is desirable but not required
    • Experience managing Compensation, Benefits – 5 years minimum direct experience in similar role
    • Administrative knowledge and experience of HRIS systems
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent English language communication skills – verbal, written, reading, and overall comprehension
    • Experience with HR analytics, reporting highly desirable
    • Experience leading large scale projects related to the role
    • Good knowledge of regulations and reporting related to compliance, payroll, record-retention, EEOC, compensation and benefits
    • Must have knowledge of and managed reporting related to ADA, EEO, FMLA, FLSA and Workers Compensation
    • Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel (desirable PowerPoint).
