    What to expect:

    As a Liability Auditor, you will be a part of a newly created Liability team that adjusts and performs essential claims handling functions for Sixt’s business activities in the United States.

    What you'll do to be Sixt-cessful:

    • Perform audits on the technical handling of claim files and accurately report findings; allowing for the company to improve loss cost management and control overall insurance expenses
    • Provide additional claims handling feedback, suggested best-practices and coaching recommendations to the direct management of individual adjusters, outside of the technical evaluation of audit criteria
    • Direct and maintain ownership, with the guidance of a project director, up to four companywide risk management process reviews that will have a large impact on business operations (e.g. product marketing, regulatory studies, claims processes and/or other related topics)
    • Collaborate with management and subject matter experts to develop recurring reports for the management team
    • Interpret and communicate information in a manner that can be comprehended by non-analytical audience
    • Present results and findings to senior management

    What you'll need:

    • Bachelor’s degree (risk management, business analytics or related field of study preferred)
    • 2-3 years experience handling and/or auditing auto damage estimates, auto liability claims, general liability claims and/or worker’s compensation claims (strongly preferred)
    • Ability to compile data in comprehensive reports, analyze trends and make fact-based recommendations
    • Must be a highly motivated individual with the desire and drive to move up within the company
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly strong Excel skills
    • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good presentation skills
    • Knowledge of project management methods (preferred)
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
